Wonowon is one step closer to their new playground. A school district 60's board meeting was held lastnight, and a Capital Budget Bylaw was made, allowing the project to commence. In September, the provincial government announced $8 million for playgrounds across the province, $50,000 of that will go to Wonowon. It's current play area has a makeshift monkey bars made out of pipes, a swing set and a slide, and a merry-go-round.
